The job of a bear market is to make as many people as possible lose as much money as possible.

In this week’s Market Recap, financial advisor Lance Roberts returns to explain that while he doesn’t think the bear market is over, it will likely need to sucker in the bulls before taking its next major leg down.

Which is why he continues to recommend using any further rally from here as an opportunity to lighten up on long positions.

Lance and I also address the multiplying challenges of Federal Reserve tightening, the fast-deteriorating outlook for the jobs market, recession warning signs, the moral hazard of college loan forgiveness, and the approaching insolvency of Social Security & Medicare.
